Community Walk
Today we went on our community walk! It was a bit windier than expected and many of us had a difficult time with the cold. In the future, please ensure that students are dressed properly for the weather. I have a rule that if you wear something to school, you need to wear it outside. It is better to get warm and have to take something off than be cold outside!
Lantern Craft
We made lanterns today today as an activity to celebrate Lunar New Year! There were many students that become easily frustrated today, and were not happy with their craft. When completing art activities, they do not need to be perfect! Art is meant to explore creativity and find ways to express ourselves.
