Monday, September 16

Today: -We played a place value game, and our partner was chosen by the sticks of destiny -We went over to Ms Vashi's class to learn about Terry Fox -We played a Calgary recycling game (ask me about this) -Started a new literacy game center -We had a substitute teacher in music and played a game with boom whackers THIS FRIDAY, we are going on a community walk. The map is included at the bottom of this post. Thursday is the Terry Fox Run.

Wednesday, February 26th

Today we: -Went to Phys Ed and played hockey -Made Jelly Donut Difference donuts. The sprinkles say something we can do to spread kindness. -Wrote down Space vocabulary -Reviewed multiplication and division personal strategies and practiced using the one we prefer REMINDER: There is no school for students on Friday.

Wednesday!

So far this week: -We had our first PE class today -We started self portraits, one side is our face and the other side is our interests and hobbies -We completed our One Word Projects -We had our first assembly of the year where we talked about expectations and that we all belong at Northern Lights School -We played Math games with cards REMINDER: Please return forms that were sent home in blue folders as soon as possible.
